greetings from Sweet Harmony Barbershop Chorus and Quartet. Just writing to let you know that we are back rehearsing each week, and that we are really looking forward to performing again.
You can be sure that our aim is to be ready with Songs and Smiles for whenever our friends feel comfortable about inviting us along to their functions once more.
The above is a follow-up to Sweet Harmony Barbershop Chorus and Quartet informing you early 2020 that in view of the situation regarding the Coronavirus pandemic all future functions and practices were suspended.

Sweet Harmony Barbershop Chorus
is a barbershop voice chorus formed in 2012, shortly followed by their quartet Take 4, singing barbershop style versions of popular songs. We perform at numerous events for local groups mainly in the Falkirk area but also further afield in the Forth Valley area. We are friendly and informal, focussed on offering performances of pleasant enjoyable barbershop chorus singing accompanied with fun and some individual performances

We rehearse each Monday from 7pm to 8.30pm in Larbert East Church, Kirk Wynd, Stenhousemuir. There is no audition and you do not have to sight read, as we learn using teaching CDs. Charitable Donations
Our ‘aims and objectives’ state that we perform generally ‘not for profit other than in support of charitable ends’. Having performed in excess of 200 functions, during a 10 year period, voluntary contributions received from our many hosts enabled us to donate to several local charities, as shown below. Donations to date total approximately £13.130
Alzheimer’s Society / Disaster Emergency Committee / Falkirk Blind Club / Macmillan Cancer Support / Maggie’s Forth Valley / Motor Neurone Disease/ Strathcarron Hospice
In addition we were also able to donate to the following organisations: FDAMH / Buskit – Grangemouth / Polmont Pensioners / Christ Church – Falkirk / Camelon Parish Church / RNLI / Friends of Zetland Park – Grangemouth

Falkirk Herald ‘Group of the Week’ 14th March 2015
The ‘Falkirk Herald’ also added: ‘Everyone, almost without exception, likes a good tune and the sounds of one group are spreading harmony throughout the district. The male voice choir perform accomplished, pleasant and enjoyable barbershop A-capella singing at a host of events throughout the Forth Valley.
