Sweet Harmony Chorus and Quartet Reviews
Stirling & District Society of Organists presented Sweet Harmony Barbershop Chorus In Clackmannan Parish Church on Saturday 21st April when we were entertained to a tremendous afternoon of popular musical harmonies and barbershop music. The audience were also privileged to hear a short background history for each song and were entertained by a selection of lighter moments when the group shared some humorous stories.
Not only were we present at a wonderful evening of song, but were also treated to some light comedy from the chorus, and some individual performances. The members of Sweet Harmony obviously thoroughly enjoy what they are doing, and their interaction with each other and the audience went a very long way towards adding to the evenings entertainment”
The evening was absolutely wonderful, the audience present being treated to a very varied choice of song, amazingly delivered”
The chorus is well named, as the harmonies were sweet. It was a privilege to be present and to hear the varied and very enjoyable well known songs”
What an evening. The songs were lovely to hear, with the four part harmonies being clearly heard. The audience obviously enjoyed the evening, showing great appreciation after each song”
Just got settled in after your wonderful performance tonight. I would very much appreciate if you would convey my thanks and appreciation to your group. The atmosphere you created with your humour and your wonderful voices was appreciated by all who attended. Once again a huge thank you and I hope we can welcome you back in the not too distant future”
Lenzie Union Guild Secretary
Please pass on our thanks to your wonderful Barbershop ‘boys’ for such an entertaining and enjoyable programme last night. It was great to see so many ‘boys’ of a ‘certain age’ enjoying themselves so much and their enjoyment was infectious. I hope you were able to sense how much our ladies appreciated your singing. We all went home with a smileand a song on our lips. Many thanks again and best wishes in the work you are doing’
90th Birthday at Dullatur Golf Club
Thank you for the excellent entertainment which you provided on Saturday evening. Your input really started the evening on a good ‘note’. We received lots of compliments on our choice of entertainment for the event and were told of happy memories brought back. Your cards were enthusiastically taken away by guests who hope to book you in the future. Thank you again, we couldn’t have been more pleased’.

“Epic Woo’er. Craig, Dickson, whoever told you that the way to woo her was with a barbershop quartet was not lying. We were woo’ed. what a lovely afternoon…bring on April,
Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed it. I met sweet harmony about two years ago when they performed for the arts and civic. I’ve always wanted to get them along but they are busy guys. So I was delighted they could come along this month. They were superb”
“If you ever do the Woo’er on Too’er you should def get them along! Can’t wait to see what April brings-thanks for organising & competing with the usual class”
“I’ll need to get my thinking cap on but I think sweet harmony should come along every week. They should do some music in between acts at all untitled events”
